I bought this for use in a backpack that had a pocket for a water pouch but didn't come with one. I love the easy to fill big opening that easily allows you to throw some ice cubes in there. I like the quick connects on both end of the hose for easy cleaning and replacement. So, far seems pretty tough.

Great hydration bladder. No bad taste right out the box, hose and insulation is high quality. The bladder is thick and has ribs for support so its sturdy. The mouth bite piece is awesome. Easy to use and detable from hose so its to clean. Hoses are quick connect and work great never had a leak. Bite pieces are easy to replace if needed. Ive hiked at least 30 trips with this bag since 2020! This is the one.

Bought it last week, I am so happy with it! Went for a 7 hour hike with it, was able to use it to pour water for my dog and had enough for me. Minimal rubber taste which is great, as is so common with other camel bags. Would recommend to any hikers or campers!

I've had a Camelbak for over 14 yrs. Use it now when I mountain bike. I do clean it, long story short, mold I could not get out. Plus it started leaking. Bought this to replace it, much affordable, fit like the original and WOW I did not realize the taste difference because of mold I did not know was in my old one. I recommend this. No hit on Camelbak, great product there but this was cheaper.

We used two of these on a 4 day backpacking trip this summer. We filled them up with water filtered from streams and stored them in our packs.Four things really make this bladder worth getting in my opinion: #1 - the detachable hose gets it out of the way when you are filling near a water source so that you don't have to worry about the drinking end falling into potentially contaminated water. #2 - the shutoff valve at the drinking end is great when you are hiking so that you don't end up with water leaking on your shoulder. It also makes it easy to control the flow when filling cooking pots. #3 - the large opening makes it super easy to fill, clean, and dry. #4 - Durability. We had this around rocks, sticks, hanging in trees, and crammed into our pack with tons of other supplies. Held up really well!Other features I like are the insulated hose and the large handle for carrying and the internal attachments which help hold the shape of the bladder when full. We also didn't notice any off flavors from the plastic, but we did wash, soak, and rinse before using.The only downside would be that the screw on cap can be difficult to get lined up and screwed on sometimes, especially when the bladder is full.Overall, I would buy again and recommend to any hikers.
