It really is sturdy and safe, my daughter is 12 and her friend and her swing on it together with no problem. It has plenty of room, with it being 40 Inch diameter. Even adults can enjoy it. My Brother is a Big Guy and pushing 300 lbs, he swings on it too, with no problem. It is very easy and quick setting it up. It is a really nice swing to have, for the whole Family to enjoy.
