The filter fit perfect just like the original Mopar Filter did. This filter did come with the O-ring shown in the picture so I guess the other reviewer got shorted. Replacing the filter cartridge is a breeze; it's easy to reach and all of the oil has already drained out of it before you take the filter out. I suppose the reusable steel cover saves a bit on material cost and waste, but it does add an extra step in the replacement process and makes the old filter a little messier to dispose of. Where I live they say you shouldn't toss oil filters in the trash, but they don't have a recycling bin for them at the used oil disposal site.I bought a 2011 Jeep fairly early in the model year and couldn't find filters anywhere but at the dealership for a while. Then Fram came out with a filter, and now Purolator. They still aren't stocked at the discount auto parts stores, but that will probably change soon.The Purolator filter fits perfectly, is less expensive than Fram or Mopar (and the price keeps dropping), and I don't worry about the quality of the material. The O-ring doesn't seem to need changing every time but I do change it, and I saved one old ring just in case something comes up later.
