There were no separate mounting brackets. Step 1: unscrew the brackets on the back. Step 2: Drill with a 6mm bit holes Step 3: gently hammer in anchors . Step 4 screw in brackets to wall where anchors are. Step 5:Hook towel bar (or any other piece) over the mounting brackets and tighten screws. Step 6: Hang that towel! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Once they're up, look great! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 13, 2020* To make them look modern, screwing them into the mounted brackets is a little sneaky and difficult. Takes some patience with the tiny screwdriver because we don't have a better tool, and with them up against the wall the turn radius was so small. But that was really only 10 minutes per bar, so not enough to make us regert purchase! Love how they look now, stay looking clean too.
