No, the listing does not say 'range is 100V - 240V'. It says the plugs will 'carry a load'. Quite different meaning. The plugs sold in this pack are for one reason. Your US device has a US plug. Europe has different wall sockets that your US plug will not fit into. We are talking about plugging a device into a wall, nothing more. This purchase serves that purpose. Now for the voltage part... USA has 110V AC electricity delivered to all wall sockets. Europe has 220V delivered to all wall sockets. If your device handles only 110V current, then it will be fried on 220V current. So if you use a 110V hair dryer from the US + European plug adapter on a 220V socket, your hair dryer will fry instantly as the current is far greater than it is designed for. Either get a dual voltage travel hair dryer with a switch that toggles between 110V and 220V or... buy a transformer with a US socket, plug your hair dryer into this transformer, add the Euro plug sold here to the other end, and plug this device into the European wall socket. Voila!
