Review: Great sturdy shelves - I think the reviewers that note problems with the wire shelves received a different item than I did. My shelves are totally flat, not bent at the sides, and they fit inside the supports (tightly after some maneuvering). The horizontal supports really do need to be tapped in with a rubber mallet. I didn't at first because they seemed secure without it, but once I had to wiggle things to place the shelves, I learned that they weren't tight. But with a tap of the mallet, everything was fine. There were some little plastic feet I didn't notice until it was assembled and that weren't mentioned in the instructions. Put them on the vertical pieces first. I learned the hard way. I easily assembled everything by myself in about 20 minutes. It's big and very sturdy.
