Review: Very effective indeed. - Great product +++++ - better than I would have anticipated and worth the money (and the wait as delivery time is a bit on the long side). From no great distance I would actually not have thought they weren’t real candles (which we used to use until we realised that the gradual build-up of soot was discolouring our ceilings). In fact, I think they are even more effective than the real thing as in addition to a great moving flame effect and realistioc appearence, they throw a subtle but effective pattern of light up the wall behind them which you would not get with real candles, yet this by no means looks entirely unnatural. Battery life not bad at all and easy to recharge with one single multi plug charging lead. The remote control is a very convenient bonus for turning on-and-off without from a distance without needing to use the switch in the bases of each candle. Can thoroughly recommend to any candle lovers who don't want either a sooty ceiling or having to keep replacing disposable batteries as in other artificial candles. :-)

**Q: Hey, how do you open the remote tray? My efforts at pushing and pulling haven't worked out... Thanks.**
A: I am not quite sure what you mean by remote tray?  Are you trying to change battery on remote controller?

There is a tiny slot along openable side you wedge your nail into and pull “drawer” open to change battery- just be sure to note which side up battery is placed in so you can repeat that or you’ll have to do it all again like I did when doesn’t work.... if you don’t have longish finger nails, use a small screw driver or fin knife without hurting yourself please!!  Like the little screw driver that comes with eye glasses repair kit, or maybe even a paper clip would work....

**Q: How long (hours) will the rechargable candles stay illuminated?**
A: I think they lasted for 24 hrs.  I left them on all day (8hrs) for about 3 days before I recharged. They were not even out then but had dimmed some.  I am very satisfied with how long they stayed lit.

**Q: Anybody? It says it's 7.5 cm in diameter, that's 2.9 in, but you state that it's 3.9 in? So what is the actual diameter?**
A: I use mine at Christmas so they are packed away but I believe they are 3.9 inches. Look very much like a regular pillar candle.

**Q: where can I get a longer cable, or one that extends? What kind of end is the plug on the cable called?**
A: Well I don't know, I've had these candles for a long time and you just need to charge them, you program them and last for 5 days average.
I love then. I think I will order another set.

### ⭐ Poor quality not like photos in advert

I bought these candles as I like the fact they are rechargeable and appear to have a real wick/flame shape to them and looked to match some rechargeable votive candies bought on Amazon, however when they were delivered they are extremely light in weight, cheap feel to them and the 'flame' is nothing like they appear in the advert photos.
