First of all, know that it says it’s “Made in China”...Second the products called “Casa Toscana” by “Beauty Spot”.Well, if you look up “Beauty Spot”, you’ll see it’s an Australian company that specializes in cheap beauty products. This review is mostly for the lotions-though the fragrances seems to be the same the same for both Lotion & shower gel.Fragrance: Lavender-Sage: I highly doubt there is any “real” lavender oil in this. I grow lavender, so, I’m well familiar with it’s unique fragrance. I’d say this is instead more of a moldy-Earthy smell mixed with soap. Also, all of the lotions seem to list the exact same ingredients-including “Fragrance (Parfum)”-So, it’s likely not natural. Unlike real lavender, this one is a rather weak fragrance that seems to mostly dissipate after just a few minutes.Citrus Verbena: Is perhaps a bit of a manly ”limey” fragrance but it too seems to dissipate too quickly & not very long lasting.White Iris: Reminded me more of something I once smelled in a hospital disinfectant or herbal cleaning supply. It’s not horrible & does seem to last longer than the rest (about 15-20 minutes). But, the “good news“ is that the lotions themselves really do seem to be a really nice, effective, & long-lasting skin softener/moisturizer, is not greasy, and the price was extremely reasonable (Mine cost about $1.25 for each bottle). The 1.6 oz size is perfect for travel, the packaging is nice (though was not thrilled with the globs of rubber cement on the backs of the bottles that hold them to the gift pack’s plastic insert).All in all they are well worth the buy, though the fragrances are probably better suited for a man. However, for women, if you want something more pleasantly feminine & stronger, I would just recommend adding your own preferred fragrance since these are such short-lived, mild fragrances anyway.
