Review: A Very Nice Mistake - First of all, I have to laugh at myself. I usually read the description of a product l'm considering very carefully before deciding it's something I want to order. You can imagine my surprise when instead of the 2 decks I thought I ordered, I received a box of 12. However, I like these cards a lot so I'm not unhappy at my mistake. They are definitely not flimsy but easy to handle. Quality is great and I'm loving the large print. They shuffle well and fairly even with my crank shuffler machine and slide beautifully as they are being dealt out. I see longevity of use here in that I don't think these cards will get all wimpy and soiled as my old decks did. Good mistake.

My elderly mother has been playing Hand and Foot for years with her friends every week, but over the last year her eyesight has deteriorated so that she couldn't see the numbers and suits on her cards. They tried oversized cards once, but this proved untenable because of the number of cards they had to hold onto. I got her these large print, regular sized cards, and she's back to playing weekly and enjoying life a bit more. Her friends also like them, all being over 70 themselves and not having the best eyesight. They are very good quality, and she likes the fact that they're plastic coated and easy to clean -- an important factor, given that they usually have snacks during their card games.
