    Good for wayward small dogs.

My dog does respond to the whistle better than my voice. It works a real treat. My dog is a cross between a spaniel and a lhasa apso, with selective hearing when she is eating things she shouldn't. She does come when called with this. (Not always immediately, sometimes it takes three blasts.)

You move a dog treat wrapper in the kitchen and our dog hears it from down the bottom of the garden ... you call her to come in for bed then she 'throws a deaf un'.Problem solved.  Can be hung around your neck when out.LightweightDog can be trained to do two different tasks eg return or sit
