「まずはスケッチブック1冊を鉛筆（シャーペン）の絵で埋めてみよう」という具体的な提案が背中を押してくれます。その後にペン画，水彩画等のテクニックに話が及んでいきます。図版が多く各ページは画帳のような背景で演出されパラパラ眺めるだけでも気持ちいいです。解説の英語は非常にわかりやすく，単語の難易度は中学〜高校のボキャブラリーで読めるでしょう。英文読解の演習にもなるし，手に入れて良かったです。
