Doesnt spray out well, just drops down, doesnt expand. I don't know if I had bad cans or what but garbage **Q: Is this water proof?** A: The can is labeled "water resistant." **Q: Is it waterproof** A: Can’t say if it is waterproof or not but if you get it on your hands you will wear it for a while. I tried various solvents to no avail. Wear disposable gloves. **Q: Can I use this around a gas pipe?** A: Rigid or Flexable copper/brass? I had space between boards and roofing of a coop and chicken run that mainly I didn’t want wasp to be able to get in and I was able to pretty quickly and easily spray into the holes and fill them. It expands after spraying which is ok and can be good but when you don’t want to leave a gap you just fill it initially and deal with the excess after it expands. I just took a knife and made it look a little cleaner which really didn’t take long to do either.
