Technically sure has changed over those 10 years and this boarding is awesome. I’m almost 50 years old and the last board I had was from the early 2000’s, very stiff, had to be very aggressive with it. This boarding is not like that at all. While is does have enough stiffness to ride it as an all mountain board it also has enough play in it to do butters and hit the park. Great board.
