Review: They definitely make a difference. - I have always had horrible skin. It is very acne prone, dry, dull, peeling in spots, and when I wake up in the morning you can literally see all of the disgustingness clogging the pores of my face. I recently stopped taking hormonal birth control and my skin has gotten ten times worse. Typically I use a benzoyl peroxide cleaner with a rotating brush. That works wonders but since my skin is now getting worse even that is having a hard time keeping up. I purchased some salicylic acid pads in hopes that the benzoyl peroxide would kill any bacteria and the salicylic acid would help exfoliate the dead skin cells but they have never really worked well for me and this time was no exception. They help to exfoliate, but they always leave my skin dry, tight and shiny. I decided I needed to try something different so I purchased these glycolic pads. I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought them so I was really pleasantly surprised when they worked so well. These pads contain both glycolic acid as well as salicylic acid and the combination has really made a difference in my skin. I am noticing my pimples don't last as long, my face is brighter and overall my skin looks much healthier. The pads have a citrus smell to them. The pads themselves are not as abrasive as a typical salicylic acid pad which after some research I have learned is a good thing. It is not the abrasive pad that is doing the exfoliating, it is the chemical on the pad. In fact abrasive pads can actually irritate sensitive skin even more so I feel the softness of these pads is a great feature. To use these, you should first clean your face so that the chemicals can get into your pores more easily. I would recommend a mild cleanser, especially I you have not used glycolic acid before so that you do not over dry your face. Once your face has dried you apply the pads. You can rub but I blot so as to not cause any more irritation. I personally let my face dry and let the chemicals work for about 15 minutes or so and then apply a moisturizer for sensitive skin. I have read that once the chemicals dry it is fine to add moisturizer and I find that the pads work the same regardless of whether I apply moisturizer or not. Keep in mind everyone's skin is different and this may or may not work better for you. I apply these right before bed (your skin works to repair itself at night so this is the best time) and in the morning I simply wash my face with water and moisturize if needed or if I am going to be applying makeup. One thing I did learn is that if you don't need an all over exfoliation or if these pads are too strong, it is OK to spot treat with them. For example, most of my breakouts are around my mouth and on my forehead. Sometimes I will treat these areas every night and only treat my entire face every other night. Spot treating was something I never thought of to do and it has helped me tremendously. Also, make sure to use a good quality moisturizer. Personally I like to add a drop of jojoba oil to my moisturizer because it simulates natural sebum so it kind of regulates how much oil your skin is going to produce when it gets dry. Dry skin tends to produce oil to lubricate itself and oil clogs pores causing the breakout cycle. This is why a lot of people, like myself, with dry skin have acne problems. These pads have been a great addition to my skin care routine and I truly can see a difference since I have started using them. I definitely recommend giving them a try and I will be back to purchase more in the future.
Review: Love these pads! Best exfoliating pads that are affordable! - I previously was using (and liked) the St. Ives exfoliating pads, but they were unfortunately discontinued. So I wanted to find a reasonably priced alternative that would perform similar to the way the St. Ives pads did, and found these. I already bought and used an entire container of these and they are the best exfoliating pads I have found that are reasonably priced! They are an even better deal here on desertcart, although they do sell these in the store. I originally tried the “Philosophy” brand “Microdelivery Microdermabrasion peel pads” a few years ago, but they have since changed the packaging and quantity and the price is way too high for me to afford. So I searched for a “dupe” of that product and found the St.Ives ones (now discontinued). I then searched again, and the Nip and Fab brand (these) had good reviews so I decided to try them, and I do not regret it! I definitely recommend these pads to anyone looking for an affordable alternative to other brands exfoliating pads, as I’ve found that these work just as well! I also feel that these have helped clear my skin and make it much smoother! Edit: I have since bought these pads 3 times and now plan on purchasing again- they are great! They have really helped my acne and acne scars and just re-texturizing my skin overall, and they can be used everyday. Love these pads and the price is also reasonable! I also tried the Pixi glow pads which were more expensive and did not like them as much as these...in short, these are the best pads I have found for re-texturing skin and eliminating acne and acne scars without being too harsh or burning (other than the very expensive Philosophy microdelivery pads that they don’t make anymore- plus those were for use once-twice per week). In short, I will continue to purchase these as long as they are available and they are so much better than any liquid toners I have tried (I have tried a lot- Burt’s Bees, Neutrogena (2 types), Sea Breeze, Witch Hazel) plus no need to keep buying cotton rounds.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bang for your buck!!
*by D***E on June 15, 2020*

its really hard to write a review on certain things especially when it comes to wipes etc. I will say this I have read some reviews that almost stopped me from buying but I went with my gut and purchased anyway. The scent is a light citrus and the pads are wet. I have read reviews that they said they were dry. So, I make an effort to grab the pad and seal the container tightly to avoid drying out. (There's enough solution but not extreme like for example a clorox wipe container where it's half full/just as a reference so you know what i mean). My skin looks good but I am using a few other serums so sometimes it's hard to pin point. I have no complaints. For $10 and you have 2 months worth of night time pads, what have you got to loose?? I also get a slight tingle which for me I know its doing something rather than nothing. Does not dry my skin, does not leave redness. Its good I will continue to use this product.
