Review: I'm not able to sleep without one.. - For whatever reason my nasal cavity continues to slam shut on me which normally ends up with one nostril completely plugged and the other with restricted breathing. I have had sinus surgery to open things up, but without constant use of nasal sprays it eventually swells shut. Prescription sprays give me a headache and OTC sprays can only be used for a limited time before it just makes things worse. I am not a mouth breather. Sleeping is extremely difficult as I need to stay in very specific position or I end up feeling like I am suffocating. Usually my right nostril is completely closed so I need to lay on the left side of my face and use the pillow to stretch my cheek to open my left nostril. It is almost impossible to maintain that position overnight, so this has led to many, many sleepless nights. About 10(?) years ago I found these strips and they absolutely changed my sleeping, and waking life! I put one of these on and immediately felt my nose opening up. I got the best night sleep that night that I have had in years. I actually had very vivid dreams that I was not expecting. Apparently REM sleep was something I wasn't getting before as I was constantly waking up feeling suffocated. The next day I was refreshed in a way I haven't felt in a long time. I started with the 2 plastic strand tan version and was happy when they came out with these 3 strand clear. I do feel a slight increase in airflow with these. To people who are having a problem with the strip falling off you are probably not following the directions, or you may have very oily skin. You need to wash and dry your nose or the oils in your nose will break down the adhesive within hours. I was actually having problems with these sticking TOO MUCH to the point where I was getting a red spot at the bridge of my nose from peeling it off in the morning. I fixed this by putting a little dab of Burt's Beeswax lip balm on the bridge of my nose and working it in to the strip as I'm putting it on. The sides stay nice and sticky but the tip doesn't stick as much. A few splashes of warm water in the morning and it slides right off. I do use these nightly and have for years. I have seen no apparent side effects, however when you wake up and take this off you will notice your nose is slightly larger for a little while. As you get moving it settles back to normal, but I do wonder what long term use will do in this regard. As your nose continues to grow over your life I wonder if this may affect elasticity in the skin. But overall I really don't care. I can breath!
Review: Would never go back to not having them - This things work wonders. I’ve always struggled to breathe properly through my nose. At best, I’d have 50% function from one nostril and it was more work than it was worth. Looking back I’m sure I was mouth breathing more than I realized and at night it was so much worse. Unless I was sleeping facing up towards the ceiling, the pillows would compress my nose and I’d automatically breathe through my mouth. At first it felt kind of weird having them on and the worst part for me, is that I sweat a lot at work so the adhesive comes off fairly quickly and that they’re uncomfortable to use while having my glasses on. Started wearing my contacts more to fix that. Once I got use to them, it’s weird not having them on. It feels so much better and, while it’s not a 100% fix in my opinion, it’s worth having them. Definitely recommend

**Q: Do these have an expiration date?**
A: While there is some sort of code number stamped on the box, there does not appear to be an expiration date. My partner & I can't begin to relay just how grateful we are for these in reducing our snoring & increasing deeper sleep! I just ordered 2 more boxes to avoid running out.

**Q: How to I find the correct size break downs.**
A: As far as I know, one size fits all.
I use it off center and it still works fine

**Q: What are better this green box red box or purple box what is the difference between all 3 also i seen a regular box**
A: The strips are made of different materials. I have tried the red and the green; both allow free breathing while I sleep. The better one for me has been green. They all stick, but peeling off the red after a night's sleep would often leave my nose red and sore. The green sticks well for me, and it pulls off easily. Be sure to wash the application area before applying.

**Q: will this work with a nostril piercing?**
A: Maybe, I don’t have a nose piercing but if it’s a small one I think it will be fine and as long as it’s not a new piercing. It might get some of the glue on it so it might require cleaning after removing the strip as well. If it’s a bulky piercing or a ring one that goes over the nostril, it might be a bit uncomfortable or it might not hold well. These strips are rigid though, it might be more beneficial if you get the softer ones that look like bandaids that have more flexibility and can therefore fit more comfortably over the piercing

For whatever reason my nasal cavity continues to slam shut on me which normally ends up with one nostril completely plugged and the other with restricted breathing. I have had sinus surgery to open things up, but without constant use of nasal sprays it eventually swells shut. Prescription sprays give me a headache and OTC sprays can only be used for a limited time before it just makes things worse. I am not a mouth breather. Sleeping is extremely difficult as I need to stay in very specific position or I end up feeling like I am suffocating. Usually my right nostril is completely closed so I need to lay on the left side of my face and use the pillow to stretch my cheek to open my left nostril. It is almost impossible to maintain that position overnight, so this has led to many, many sleepless nights. Works very well and I saw a significant difference in my breathing. Adhesive left behind when you pull it off but easy to wash off.
