I can fit their shoes on the PEET Dryer. His shoes are mainly cleats and tennis shoes, but it works for my daughter's Ugg boots as well. **Q: how is this on the electric bill? if you keep it on 24hrs, 7 days a week** A: My first Peet lasted 26 yrs. being left on 24/7. When I removed the item from the box, I noticed that it was very light. Then, after plugging it in, I found there is no indicator light, and noted that it has no on/off switch. In fact, it seemed likely that it wasn't doing anything at all! But after reading the fluorescent pink slip of paper included in the box, which explained that the unit has no fan and operates silently, I continued giving it a first use. Slipping my wet hiking boots onto the drying stands, I waited ten minutes, and still nothing seemed to be happening. So, following the instructions, I left it for eight hours and checked again. My boots were dry and slightly warm inside. It worked! Things to note: It does NOT dry quickly, but it definitely dries wet boots before you need them the next day. It works silently, with no indicator light, so you have to trust it. It has no fan; it moves air by convection. Those tall towers function like chimneys, creating a column of rising warm air that flows gently all the way to the toes of the boots/shoes.
