The small fit them pretty well they are ages 4 and 5. I will say that shipping was not good even with prime.( Likely not the sellers fault, ) but it took almost 2 weeks to arrive in Indiana. My boys requested one to ride their bikes with and they loved them anyways :) they will get lots of use this summer! They seem like great quality and keep the kiddos safe. I love that they came with goggles and gloves also. My boys were very happy with them.
