I bought it for my mud room that has windows on the west side. It gets very hot in there in the summer, and I thought I would try it to see if it would cool it down at all. It cooled down a very significant amount, far better than expected. It did take some time to put up, it was a learning process, but by the end of it, I felt like I had a system down for doing it that worked quickly. At the end of the summer, some of the corners warped up a little, but not enough to need to replace it, and after a cold, snowy winter, it is still up and ready for this summer. I expect it to wear out this year or next (maybe) and I intend to buy it again when that happens. It looks really nice from outside, too, all I see is a mirror reflection instead of the stuff in the mudroom.
