This is a fantastic product to add or update an existing lab, shop. Great for an engineer, Technician or hobbyist. It is very well made with large bright display panel. The user manual is great. Good detail, well written, and easy to understand. I've put it through some test and am very pleased. Checked stability over 48hrs, after 30min warmup (STD). and it was well within specs. Worth the money. Thank you for writing. The differences between the SDM3045X and the SDM3055 are basically the measurement accuracy and resolution. The SDM3055 is more sensitive and more accurate, which can be useful when diagnosing small differences between "good" and "bad" circuit elements or components. Do we provide a precision reference and push a button?** A: Mine came with a certificate of calibration done with a fluke product. No it doesn't come with a push button calibration method. **Q: Can the 3055 read rtds? i looked thru manual and saw temperature selection for t/c and for thermoresistor but no sensor selection pt100, 2-3- 4 wire.** A: RTDs are thermoresistors. Features 5 1/2 digits, trend & history charts, capacitor value finder, frequency counter, diode check, 2&4 wire resistance measurements, trigger mode, relative measurements, DC&AC amps 200mA -10A, math functions: statistics, limits, dB & dBm, limit tests. Analog filter, period measurements, overvoltage protection to 1000v, programmable screen saver and much more. If you want a good lab DVOM it is hard to do better.
