The quality has been improved over the years and has come up with somewhat sturdier design (the slight convex design of the board). The material however maybe dangerous since there's a lot of chipping happening on the top surface. All in all, its a family board, easy to use and user friendly. A must buy for the kitchen if you're not used to knife chopping.

A: the board is curved at middle by which it is easy to chop.

**Q: Why the blade is not straight?**
A: That is the design. Seems like over the usage the board down would get eroded in that case if the blade is not extra it wouldn't cut the vegetables.
