**Q: Is it an original sailor?**
A: We purchase products directly from the Japanese Sailor Pen Co., Ltd. We put the warranty card and accessories on the bottom of the fountain pen box. thanks for your questions.

**Q: Can you change the nib size down the road to something broader?**
A: Not easy to do with a sailor. They do not sell nibs alone. Try a karas kustoms with their easy to unscrew bock nibs.

**Q: Snap close or twist close?**
A: It's a twist closure.  It's virtually the same pen as a Sailor 1911S but with a steel nib and slightly simpler trim.

**Q: What kind of converter is compatible with this pen?**
A: I purchased the Sailor brand converter to go with it.
