Review: Butcher Block Table Top Maintenance - Oil and Wax From Clark's - I bought the orange and lemon scented oil and wax products for cutting boards to use on a 42 inch diameter butcher block kitchen table top. I also bought Clark's cutting board soap via desertcart as a 2nd order. My table has been unused in my basement and not maintained with cleaning soap, oil, or wax for over 20 years although in very good shape. My daughter will be using the table in a new apartment and I decided to finally do the long overdue maintenance. The products were easy to use, all worked well, and the table top looks great. I just removed the metal table base to treat the underside of the top otherwise would have added a picture of the top. The liquid soap was fastest to use and I used about 20% of the 12 ounce bottle. The liquid oil came next and I needed 3 applications which I did over 24 hours and used about 40% of the 12 ounce bottle. The final item was the wax paste and I used what seems to be very little of the 6 ounce jar, less than an ounce I believe. For those who can't use scented products, the scents are very mild and should not be any problem for most people.
