Liquitex Satin Varnish is a premium 237 ml acrylic polymer finish that protects and enhances acrylic paintings with a durable, non-yellowing satin sheen. It dries quickly to a hard, flexible, dirt-resistant surface, safe for indoor use and educational environments. Compatible with Liquitex paints and mediums, it offers archival protection against UV light and environmental damage, ensuring your artwork stays vibrant and pristine.

## Description

Liquitex offers the broadest range of acrylic mediums to inspire creativity at every stage of the painting process. Varnish Mediums protect the painting surface from the environment and protect the pigments from ultraviolet light. Additionally, varnishes can be used to change or unify a painting’s surface sheen. Liquitex varnishes come in several different sheens which can all be intermixed for a customized sheen. Liquitex Archival Permanent Varnish Finishing Medium is a low-odor, permanent and durable medium with water-based technology, translucent when wet, clear when dry. Resists discoloring (non-yellowing, non-fogging) due to humidity heat and ultraviolet light. Can be used with Spray Paint, Heavy Body, Soft Body. Dries to a non-tacky, hard, flexible surface that is resistant to dirt retention. Hard, archival, non-yellowing and water-resistant when dry. Protects acrylic color from harsh elements. For interior and exterior use. APPLICATION: Apply as a final varnish over dry acrylic paint. Varnish surface and environment must be clean, dry and dust free. Acrylic paintings must be completely dried and cured for 48-72 hours before varnishing. Application may be done by brush or spray. Generally a sprayed application will be thinner, smoother and more even. Rolling or sponging application is not recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First varnish that I could use and it works!!

Delivered on time and original. Very happy with it. First varnish that was fairly easy to handle/ apply and the satin finish is just right... Between gloss and matte.... Doesn't reflect light like porcelain as gloss does, nor does it reduce contrast/ dull the painting like matte varnish. I do apply a coat of gloss acrylic medium (Monte Marte) as a buffer layer on top of painting before varnishing for a even finish for varnish to sit on.The camlin spray varnish (only other acrylic varnish I could find in India) was terrible, tested it on a rough painting first and decided against it.... Poor finish and uneven coating. Wide, soft brush and careful application has better control than toxic sprays.Protecting your paintings are a must and this one does the job. It's liquitex, so didn't disappoint.

After my research already on Youtube videos I was looking for this product specifically to Varnish my Paintings and they look amazing. Nice as expected and used on both Paper and Canvas. Tried for first time and realized you Must Varnish, it gives a nice shine to the Painting, Protects it from Dust and colors looks more vibrant. Just the tricks to varnish should be studied before doing this as it does desolve the color a bit.
