I knew I was buying an 18/0 set of stainless but decided to buy this particular set anyway after reading some of the positive reviews about design, weight and value.I guess I'm use to better quality flatware because I find this set to be lighter in weight than I expected. While it has a nice shine to it, it feels somewhat flimsy and the particular curve of the handles almost feel awkward and uncomfortable to hold. The hammered look of the handles is also too subtle for me. I wanted something with a little more detail.I wish I had taken the time to actually go see it in person before ordering because I would not have.I really wanted a new set of flatware for Thanksgiving this year but I will probably send this one back. It is my own fault. I should have realized I would not get the quality I was looking for at this price point.I would say that if you just want something new and shiny on your table and don't want to spend a lot of money this set fits the bill but if you want something that not only looks good but feels solid and will last a long time then you need to spend more on a better quality 18/10 set. It's like anything else for the most part. You get what you pay for.Also, I think I should mention that the 5 piece hostess set is on the small side. Especially the serving spoons. They are just slightly bigger than the regular soup spoon.
