It injects FILLING into cupcakes and assuming the filling has some flavor, then I would say yes, it adds flavor. However, it's not like a meat injector which would inject a liquid. A cream filling would be the logical choice, but I'll bet Nutella or the new "jif whips" chocolate/peanut butter filling would be quite nice. It's simple to do, but the results are special. Love it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not the best option for deviled eggs *by L***A on May 30, 2022* I ordered this last year after making a batch of deviled eggs. It was one of those “I’m sure there’s a tool for this that can make my life easier” purchases. Lol little did I know. I only make deviled eggs a couple times a year so here we are on Memorial Day weekend & I remembered I bought this so I was excited to break it out & use it for the first time. Not so excited when I ended up with a worse mess then I would have had by putting the egg filling into a ziploc bag & cutting a hole to pipe it through. The cylinder is so small I had to refill it probably 5 times (for one tray of 24 eggs) & you practically need a butter knife to fill it little by little in order to get it to go down in & not have it squashing out all over the place. I spent more time cleaning egg mess off my hands then I did filling them. As far as getting a pretty end result with the zig zag tip, there wasn’t much of that either. For less than $10 I’m sure it’s a nice little tool for something, just not large quantities of anything & especially not eggs.
