Only requires short bursts of grinding and does a very good job. It is little noisy but I don’t have a problem with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but could be improved *by C***S on January 20, 2026* The main reason I purchased this grinder was to avoid contact with plastic parts. Surprisingly this is very hard to find. Most grinders have plastic that directly makes contact with contents while the blades are spinning. This causes micro plastics to accumulate in whatever you are grinding. This grinder does a good job at eliminating plastic contact other than the plastic lid. In my opinion this lid should be replaced with a metal top by the manufacture but it's not a deal breaker since the particles that hit the plastic top shouldnt cause enough damage to produce micro plastics. The only concern is wear from applying and removing the lid causing the microplastics. I myself replaced the plastic lid with a stainless steel mason jar lid and it works pretty good. Not a perfect fit but gets the job done. Here are the things I think could be better on this grinder: #1. As I already stated the plastic lid should be replaced with stainless steel. #2. The build quality could be better. The stainless steel used for the cups is a little thin. Also the plastic housing and gears on the machine seem a little cheap and can be designed better for durability. I would have paid more if this item was made with better materials and felt more durable. #3. When the motor is working it doesn't sound very healthy. It gets the job done and grinds like it should but sounds like a cheap motor. It sounds like it struggles. I have been using it everyday for about 2 months and no issues so far. I'm just hoping it will continue working. At the end of the day the most important part of this grinder is the ability to eliminate microplastics on a daily basis.
