The first one tangled in the middle of printing the first label. The second cassette has worked fine to complete my project. The color was black on a matte silver finish and blended perfectly to label a tool box. For the price, I'm really not going to complain. You're buying them to really stand out. They are not super-neon but neither are they a basic bright orange. I actually bought mine to make some labels for my obscure Kubota tractor controls.
