You'd think you were adding bacon to a dish, or had smoked your food over an open wood fire. I can only describe this as adding an element of Umami and complexity.This is satisfied by Amazon, whose packaging leaves a lot to be desired. My first package arrived with one of the bottles damaged. I used the undamaged bottle and was so turned on that I bought it again. If you are trying to impart smoke flavor to your food, but are trying to lower your fat intake, this product can easily be used in place of bacon.
