I still don't know about the whole dry oil filter deal but where I drive dust, and small air particulates are not an issue. My only qualm is that the crank breather hose has to be trimmed and is left pretty much kinked when installed because of its position on the intake tube. The intake noise is increased and quite nice especially past 3.5k. Does it make more power? Seat of the pants may say a couple, but only a dyno would tell. First the packaging was perfect and everything arrived in 1 box with simple, step-by-step instructions that take all the guesswork out of the equation. I've never done any aftermarket work on my car and this was Super easy to install. The fitment was great (no issues) and the black finish looks badass. I took my car out for a spin immediately after and drove it into work this morning; not only is there a noticeable difference in throttle response, but my car actually drives smoother. Just make sure you take off the engine sway bar first as the instructions only shows the G35 (same motor). Performance wise: It does increase the throttle response when at a higher RPM and makes a cool little chirp as well. Overall it was a great price and works and will give you a little extra HP.
