Birkenstock Women's Super Birki Pu

I have had over 5 pairs of these they are beginning to be difficult to find. I have a chemical free produce farm and I wear these all the time. They hold up and really take care of my feet.

I really have enjoyed these shoes. I’m a baker and I stand on tile floor for 8 to 12 hours.Cons: The only thing I’ve had trouble with is my toes often hit the front of the shoe when I walk. I’m still working on the best solution for the issue. So far I’ve tried several different socks with varying amounts of padding in the toe area.Pros: I love the width of the grooves on the bottom of the shoe. With my Crocs, I always end up getting the tiny cracks full of flour and powdered sugar which is a complete pain and sometimes a slip hazard.With the Birkis, the only items that have clogged the cracks are blueberries or gravel (from my trip to or from the car). I don’t feel comfortable risking damaging the non slip texture on the bottom of the sole so I avoid walking into our rack oven unlike with my Crocs (Bistro/Bistro Pro Lite Ride/Mercy). The combo of the texture and the wide channels on the bottom of the shoe (the outsole?) has made for a fantastic and safe walking experience whether I’m walking on a wet/wet & slightly greasy/frozen tile surface. I tried a pair of Bass Shoes that were supposed to be slip resistant and knew within 5 mins that I just couldn’t safely wear them at work. With the Birkis I knew within 10 minutes that they would do exactly what I needed them to do and that I would be able to walk safely at work.I haven’t had them long enough to need to replace the insoles but that ability to extend the wear time of a good shoe. I had gotten tired of having to replace my Crocs at $30-50 apiece every 3 months. I feel much more positive about the smaller trash footprint (pun intended) that the insoles make compared to pairs of Crocs. I’m curious to see how long my Birkis will last even with the periodic replacement of the insoles. I’ve only been wearing them for a couple of months now at 8-12 hrs/4 days a week.**On a footnote, the break in time wasn’t as difficult as I was afraid of.

I am on my feet all day and purchased these as an alternative to crocks which I find to be cartoon-ish looking and are waaaay to squishy for my job (I am up and down ladders all day and also own a farm). These did not disappoint. They are much more sturdy and the exterior material is firm but flexible. It's soft, but not squishy. If you are looking for a super soft cushion, these are much more firm. They are also much less "clunky" and I don't feel like I am one of the Flintstones while wearing them.The Birkenstock insert is made of the typical "cork" material and if you are used to wearing crocks, it will be quite an adjustment to get used to wearing something with more support and much more firm. I was unsure for the first few weeks but ended up throwing every last pair of crocks away and ordering two more pairs of these.My only complaint is that the material that they are made of seems to get dirty quickly. Granted, I own a farm and work as a painter and I am wearing these EVERY day--so they get much more abuse than most people will likely give them. That said, they are nearly impossible to get clean. I have used soap and water, scrub brushes, magic erasers and bleach to no avail. I took the inserts out and ran them through the washing machine and that worked best. They are still a great shoe and I feel like the support makes them much more healthy for my feet. Just wish they stayed looking like candy on my feet!

First time purchasing this specific product. They are comfortable & although I purchase wide shoes in other brands, I ordered this shoe in the regular size & my foot swims in the shoe, next time going with narrow width. My podiatrist suggested this brand and I’m going to keep purchasing these shoes, just have to find a good fit.

I love birkenstock. I have very wide feet with a high arch so I rarely can find comfortable shoes. I live in birkenstock gizahs. In those I wear size 39. They provide great arch support and accommodate wide feet so my feet don't hurt. I am looking for something to wear for travel for work. I found these to try. The problem is the shoe sole is very thick so when the cork insole that is also very thick is inserted, the shoe is too small. I can fit my foot in the shoe without the insoles but what is the point without the cork and arch support? They need to make the shoe bigger so that it fits people in the normal size that they wear. Now I'm in quandary. The next size up is unavailable so I can only get two sizes up that I suspect is too big so I won't have comfortable shoes for my upcoming trip for work. :(

As much as I like these shoes NOW (waterproof, easy to clean, reasonably comfortable, fit well, non-slip, not too clumsy), I am going to warn buyers that there IS an initial breaking-in phase and that phase IS HELLISH. Now, maybe wearing the shoes for a 10-hour shift the first day isn't the wisest idea, but by the end of the night of my first day wearing the Birkis, I felt completely crippled. My feet still hurt so badly the next morning that I chose to wear some $15 shoes from Walmart just to give my feet a break and make it through the weekend at the restaurant! THAT being said, apparently that one battle-zone day broke them in to the point that the following week when I tentatively wore them again, they fit my feet perfectly! The sole is a little harder than expected, but the cork inserts that come in the shoe have formed to my sole pretty well and I now have no problems and finish my shift at night with the minimal discomfort you'd expect from any shoe you'd been standing in for ten or eleven hour without a break. Would definitely recommend these with the caveat of either breaking them in more slowly, or just expecting that Day 1 Hell period. Haha.

Wir haben schon seit Jahrzehnten diese Birkis als Gartenschuhe und möchten sie nicht mehr missen.Sie sind einfach gemütlich, sehr stabil + robust, schützen vor Nässe & sehr vorteilhaft ist auch dass man jederzeit schnell rein- & rausschlupfen kann.Außerdem haben alle von uns die Schuhe schon seit über 20 Jahren und lediglich 1Paar musste dieses Jahr getauscht werden, die anderen sind immernoch in ziemlich guten Zustand!Dh wir brauchen noch nicht einmal eine Ersatz-Einlegesohle und selbst wenn könnte man diese sogar einzeln erwerben.Fazit: absolut bequem, robust, haltbar und sehr empfehlenswert!!

Bis jetzt muss ich sagen sind die Schuhe endlich was man sich unter Gartenschuhen vorstellt ( und sie schrumpfen infolge UV Strahlung nicht gegenüber vielen anderen Clogs) ich hoffe es bleibt so, dann bin ich damit vollauf zufrieden.

Einfach die besten Gartenclocks. Mal gucken ob die auch wieder 15 Jahre halten.
