**Q: The bow sits really high in the holder, does it hold a bow firmly without putting it in the mesh pocket?**
A: The mesh pocket goes all the way down to the bottom of the backpack. Personally, I wouldn’t strap my bow in to the backpack without putting it in the mesh pocket. It doesn’t make my bow stick out any higher either.
