When I ordered this little zinc cleanser I wasn't expecting much but the ingredients had me hopeful. I tried using it as a shampoo as well and while it does work to keep the itching and greasiness caused by other products, it doesn't move through the hair very well. DH website says this is replacing the castile soap. Which is it?** A: The Pyrithione Zinc Liquid Castile Soap is not discontinued. The current outage is being caused by supply chain issues. It will come back into stock. The Pyrithione Zinc Liquid Cleanser will also stay in our product lineup. I hope they are reading these negative reviews.** A: We didn't change the formulation. This is a wash and it is highly effective and it was designed with less viscosity . This is not the liquid castile soap which is thicker. The Liquid Castile Soap happens to be out of stock at this very moment and folks are purchasing the wash expecting it to be the Castile Soap. I use it once a day mixed with another face wash and let it sit on my skin for a few minutes before washing it off. I also mix it into my shampoo to prevent dandruff. Just be mindful that it is strong and can irritate dry patches of skin. I just use it around my dry skin patches and have no problem. It foams up a little, and has a zinc smell, which is fine. I will be purchasing for life bc it is stronger than other zinc products YET doesn’t have any acne triggering ingredients.
