**Q: does these gauges read 32nds**
A: No, it doesn't read in fractional inches.  Mine reads in mm and decimal inches only.

**Q: will this guage set work for semi truck and trailer brakes ?**
A: DOT requires CMVs to have 1/4 inch of friction material, thats 6.3mm. With this set, once you are down to the yellow the truck needs to be placed out of service.

can you say the right tools for the job this is a perfect design to see brake ware indicator and not be bs at the dealership for a break job. Red is bad green is very good and yellow is fine to good besides the master cylinder level is another sign of ware the pads are going down; you do not add brake fluid to it.
