Review: I am hopeful that this probiotic has helped me overcome toxigenic C. difficile. - This product is different from other probiotics I have taken previously. This is a 2-week supply of probiotic treatment in 14 packets. You take one packet of probiotic powder each day after a meal. To take it, I opened the packet, poured the powder on my tongue and and drank it down with a glass of water. The powder taste a bit like potatoes and it washed down easily. I have been diagnosed with toxigenic C. difficile infections twice since June. I started taking this product about one month after completing vancomycin treatment for the last infection. I have not had symptoms of a toxigenic C. difficile infection since starting to take this probiotic. I took the last dose of probiotic ten days ago. I took this on my own without being directed to do so by a physician. I will see a GI specialist in a few weeks. I am hopeful that this probiotic has helped me overcome toxigenic C. difficile.
