It took less than 5 minutes to install. The size of the item works well with my windows but measure up before buying to ensure it will fit! Item feels decent quality and it has worked on my windows and allows the window to only open so far before then locking into place. If my daughter ever got close to the window, she wouldn’t be able to push it further open or disconnect the item in any way. It feels sturdy on the window frame. I do feel a bit safer knowing it’s on the window. This item protects one side of the window. You would need to purchase more to protect both sides. But, we just keep one side permanently locked and then open the protected side safely. The adhesion to window frame feels good and I don’t think my daughter would be able to pull it off. Not before us noticing anyway! Based on current use, it’s something I would recommend to other parents. Review: Flimsy - Broke within two months.
