Review: UPDATED REVIEW - Back to 5 STARS! - UPDATE REDUX: The seller responded to my updated review and replaced the entire set for me. Increasing my review back to 5 stars! Customer service is sometimes everything! UPDATE: Well, after a few more weeks, we have noticed rust appearing on the edges of the knives and the bowls of the spoons. Not at all happy about this. This is NOT an inexpensive set! Reducing my review to 2 stars. I was counting on this set to be used for years. Some of the rust was able to be removed, but as you can see with the spoon, it's not just a few small spots, it's a lot. Beautiful, classic and stylish. This set has some good weight to the pieces, but is not overly heavy. The handles are easy and comfortable to grip. We have only had them for a few weeks, but they are holding up well - even in the dishwasher. For the look, feel and quality, they were worth the prices and a very good value. Do note that the bowls of the spoons are on the large size, so they might not be a good fit for younger or small children to use.

This has only gotten worse since Covid came and went. I wish restaurants could go back to serving with flatware like this…I think this is 18/10-check that- it has good feel in your mouth and the weight is good too. The knives are surprisingly sharp. Fork sizes are just right. No rough hard edges, the spoons and fork have smooth rounded edges. The spoons- well they are big ones. This set does not have a traditional teaspoon size spoon, just big and bigger. I did a little reading an apparently this is from a European mold. So be it. The sets just fine and I have not missed the teaspoons. If you serve high tea and require a true teaspoon size it would be an issue. The 8 piece set is the minimum for me, I wish this came in a 12 piece set. I have very hard water and I do take care to rinse these well before going in the dishwasher. Fingerprint and smudges can show up but are easily wiped away with a dishcloth. If your dishwasher doesn’t have a good detergent or you drip dry you may see water marks depending on your water and washing method. This set looks good at a place setting on a table and guests will appreciate the quality. (They might even take them home:)! Overall this set is a gem and hard to find this quality in this price range. It’s a good deal .

I’m very happy with the silverware. It is just the right size and weight that I was hoping for. Not super heavy but definitely not lightweight. It feels like good quality silverware. I have been using these for several months and I put them in the dishwasher daily and have never had a problem. I have not seen any rust and the color is exactly as shown and it has not changed at all. We live in an area that our water is very bad and it was ruining my previous flatware with every wash and this seems to be sturdy and strong and are horrible water does not seem to affect the quality or look or anything of this flatware.
