**Q: Will the tape stick on my horse or dog?**
A: Yes, it will! VetkinTape is especially modified with 35% more adhesive strength than normal kinesiology tape. A good prep, however, is essential. No tape sticks to dirty or shedding animals. Also try to avoid stretching the tape too much.

**Q: How do I prep the coat before application?**
A: The adhesion of the tape will improve if the coat is free from dust, dirt and oil on the coat. Clean the area where you apply tape well, and possibly use a pre-taping alcohol spray to clean greasy areas and break up the grease beforehand.

**Q: Can I apply the tape on long haired breeds?**
A: This is definitely possible, however, your options are more limited compared to short haired sogs. If your dog has a somewhat longer coat, it might be handy to slide the coat a bit by hand and make a separation so that the tape stays on better.

**Q: What are tips for the best application?**
A: Properly applied kinesiology tape can stay on for up to 4-7 days, we've even seen instances of 2 weeks! Make sure the coat is clean and that the hairs lie flat. Round off the edges of the tape to prevent peeling. Rub the tape well after application.
