It fits....but. The four screws that held the previous cylinder in place were self-tapping, course thread metric screws. The new cylinder comes pre-threaded with a metric M5 thread. Fortunately, I'm a retired Stihl dealer and had the screws readily available.....but it took me a while to find the right ones because all the parts breakdowns (for several of the models listed in the product info) show the self-tapping screw not the machine thread. I finally found the right screw and it's a Torx Head Screw M5x23. The Stihl part number is 9022 313 1030. I hope this helps someone save about an hours worth of looking. Overall, the quality of the cylinder and piston seem very good. Review: Pretty good quality. - Just installed it to replace a wrung out piston and cylinder on a Stihl HT75. Good compression and started right up. I work that pole saw pretty hard. It will be interesting to see how long it will last. I wish they would have included a wrist pin needle bearing with it.
