I have been using the Remington head shaver for about a year now, and it works but it is not the best. The shave is close, but not as close as this model. More importantly, the Remington one is a bit rougher/doesn't cut as smoothly; the motors have also jammed up on me a few times. On the other hand, the Manscaped Dome Shaver is really nice. I have used it 3 to 4 times in the last month or so. It cuts closer, runs smoother, and can be held in different ways. This one I can and want to use every few days; where as the Remington one, I had to wait for one skin irritation to calm down. I got the version with only 4 blade heads, which I think is more than enough; if you are in a hurry, you might get the more expensive one... Waiting for the company to sell replacement blades for this model, so I can stock up for a few years.
