However, little do we know that as much as it is a sight to behold, these pieces of art require so much time and effort, even in the hands of an expert artisan. The sad thing is, despite the number of adhesive tapes that are made available in the market, nobody has ever made a tape that is specifically tailored for woodworkers. This is why woodworkers usually resort to carpet tapes or double-sided tapes and settle with whatever compromise the narrow choice offers them. But, XFasten isn’t just any other adhesive company. We reached out to several woodworkers on our social media outlets and asked them what they needed in double-sided tape. We then created the ultimate Woodworking Tape based on what was on their wishlist. Why Choose the XFasten Woodworking Tape?● Optimal thickness allows the tape to be manageable, resisting curling, breaking and tangling.● Easy to apply and remove after due to its cloth backing. Simply remove the tape either through peeling off or through a cutter. ●Strong and stable adhesion allows the template to be held perfectly while the CNC machine or woodturner is running.● Removable and residue-free adhesive. It will not chip off or damage the delicate wood surface upon removal.● Not too thick or bulky, keeping your template’s profile to a minimum while you are working on it.Why Choose the XFasten brand? We Follow a set of strict laboratory and manufacturing standards that are accredited by ISO 9001. Also, our customer service team will accommodate you any time of the day on your inquiries—even for products that have been purchased many months ago. This is what a true worry-free investment means. Review: Holds well, easy to cut. - Decent woodworknig tape. Easy to cut and peel the double sided layer. The tpae thinkness is a little thinner than I've used previously but it appears to grip material well and keep it locked down whislt I cut away. In my opinion this is good value and at least buying three rolls in one go I'm set for the next 12 months. It is also stiff with the backing on so it does not easily accidentally stick to itself. The X fasten tape is very rubbery/pliable once the backing is off and it is touches itself its difficult to unstick it and not have it deform in the process. Its hard to cut, It's very stretchy, slightly higher adhesive than the 591. I'm a woodworker making duplicate shapes with patterns and the XFasten tape was time consuming and difficult to use so I have three rolls sitting in a drawer unused. Intertape 591 is my favorite. I was sing 3M double sided but after using the 591, I'll not use it again. Cheers **Q: Is this three 12 yard rolls (total of 36 yds) or three 36 yd rolls?** A: Each roll is 36 yards in length, and you receive three of those rolls. **Q: How does this stuff compare to Fastcap’s double sided tape? Which has good hold but leaves some residue behind.** A: I have never used Fastcap. The x fasten didn't leave any residue on the hardwood cut on my bandsaw. I cut four pieces of 3/4 at a time from a pattern. **Q: Anybody used the thicker xfasten double-sided tape (3/4"x20yd)item#dst3420 for woodwork and can tell me how it compares to this "woodworking" tape ?** A: It is by far the best I have used for woodworking.Better than most for ability of removing cover and easy to remove after use. Holds very well ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Holds well, easy to cut. *by C***L on 4 June 2026* Decent woodworknig tape. Easy to cut and peel the double sided layer.
