This book is okay. It definitely gave me a review of math, though the math is much simpler than I expected so I probably would have been fine anyway. The book claims on the cover that it will help you pass any exam. My civil service exam will cover five sections, and this book only covers two of those 5. On top of that, while I was just completing the math section of the first practice exam, I came across a problem that did not have the right answer in the multiple choice. When looking at their work in the answer bank, I realized that they subtracted a number wrong.If you are going to complete an exam that is focused on customer service or some type of matching (perhaps for the postal service), and know your math pretty well so that you will realize that they may give the wrong answer, then this book is for you. I really didn't know whether to put two or three stars. If I could go back, I wouldn't have bought it.

I would recommend that you high light all the answers, no use memorizing or reading stuff that is wrong. I read it all and picked out the words and flunked my first test, never again. Only read the write answers. Only thing is people like taking the tests and seeing what they do on it, not me! I have a hard time studying and remembering as it is, so I will highlight all the answers. Good book thro.
