The symmetry is unique, and like many, I bought it as a middle finger ring. Since it has a thick band, I went too big, but now that good turquoise jewelry is all the rage, it is well worth the price to get it cut down some. My biggest concern when buying the ring was a review saying it was thin and light. It is not. I like the Native American turquoise rings, too, so if you are used to these, they are heavier, but I weighed my ring and it weighs 9.1 grams. That is a LOT of sterling for the price! The ring is not going to tear, break or bend unless you really try to abuse it. The color is nice, too. I wear either sleeping beauty turquoise (nearly solid light blue) or green turquoise on my ring finger, and this ring goes well with both.
