Over the last few months it has worked flawlessly. I find the cell phone app very intuitive and easy to use. Connection to device has never been an issue. Just start the joule and it asks for temperature. Then asks for time. You can put your food into the water at anytime as suggested since the timer won't start until the water reaches your set temperature. So it is really set and forget. Of course your cell phone will chime when the water reaches temperature and when the food is done cooking. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easily packable *by W***L on Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2022* This item does a great job of covering a cooking vessel for sous vide, especially for long cooks where water evaporation could be an issue.
