Holds onstrument securely and easy to install ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ NO PROBLEMS *by S***Y on February 17, 2014* This DS602B threads into my Hercules Saxophone stand easily by hand. It has a nut at the threads to tighten it to the stand with a wrench, but I don't find it necessary. I use it at gigs and add it to the stand when I'm setting up, and remove it when I fold the stand for storage (it doesn't fold up with the stand). I have no complaints with its functionality. Its diameter fits the inside of my flute perfectly and the felt coating is a nice touch. The stand is well constructed, however I haven't determined the reason for the spring action (the upper head pushes downward and returns to its height by an internal spring). If I had to criticize it at all I would say that it is over engineered. A simple felt peg would suffice my need for a flute stand. It is also sold as a stand for other instruments so some of its features may be adapted for those.
