The washers that go on the inside of the vent frame may be problematic if you have a plastic frame protruding up the interior sides of the vent…..I found the washers fit by placing them on first, sliding the washer between the plastic interior trim and vent wall, place the screw from the outside in through the drilled hole through the washer, then expansion washer, then secure with supplied nut. The positioning and drilling take most of the time, securing with nuts is easy. Apply anti-seize paste to the outside bolts securing the cover to the angle brackets and do not over tighten to avoid cracking the cover.
