I don’t think they understand how homeopathy works. With homeopathy, like treats like, which is why poisonous plants or even animal venom can be a homeopathic remedy. The actual substance isn’t in the pellet - it’s an energetic sucussion, which is incredibly diluted. For example, if you have a sunburn, one remedy that can help is the Belladonna flower, a flower that is poisonous and known for its heat. It’s applying heat to heat in the body, which allows the energy to move and your body to heal faster. This remedy uses the ignatia Amara plant, known as the St Ignacius Bean, which is a woody vine. The seeds do contain strychnine as well as brucine. The “poison” is the intensity that allows this remedy to help treat the intensity of grief, stress, anxiety, emotional shock etc. I’ve found it to be helpful dosing in water, it’s gentler on the body that way. Take 4 oz of water, put two pellets of the remedy in, stir for 15 seconds, take one sip and discard the rest of the water.
