They are super easy for him to hold & carry around as he explores the world in wobbly legs. We love that they are 100% leak & spill proof as long as you get the silicone straw piece correctly into the ring that screws onto the cup. It is this part of using the cups that had me downgrade rating by 1 star. Inserting the straw top piece I to the ring is a royal PAIN! You age. To be sure the little 1/2 circle cutouts are properly lined up to the 2 bumps on the ring. We found that inserting the silicone piece from the top is actually easier than trying to pull it into place like you would a bottle nipple into the ring. Still, even with a bit of a learning curve involved, these cups are simply the best we’ve found. Oh, be sure to keep away from puppies. Our new puppy chewed off the straw top on 2 of these cups in a matter of minutes last week (reason we bought a second set). lol! Highly durable. Love the bright interchangeable colors.
