Limited to just 80kg annually, this stone-ground matcha delivers a smooth, creamy flavor profile with 80mg caffeine and 19mg L-theanine per gram for sustained energy and focus. Rich in antioxidants and nutrients, it’s perfect for traditional tea ceremonies, lattes, or cold brews, offering an authentic taste of Japan’s most celebrated matcha terroir. ## Description Crafted from rare single cultivar OKUMIDORI leaves grown in the historic terroir of Ujitawara, Uji Kyoto, this PINNACLE RESERVE Matcha represents the highest tier of FKRO’s ceremonial collection. Produced in exceptionally limited quantities of only 80kg per year, each harvest reflects the unique soil, climate, and craftsmanship that make Ujitawara one of Japan’s most revered tea-growing regions. Traditionally shaded, hand-picked during the first harvest, and slowly stone-ground to an ultra-fine powder, this ceremonial reserve reveals extraordinary smoothness, luminous color, and a deep yet refined umami. Creamy, softly nutty, and remarkably low in bitterness, UJITAWARA RESERVE finishes clean with quiet elegance—crafted for ceremonial moments and true matcha connoisseurs. ## Features - Ceremonial Grade Uji Matcha Green Tea Powder: single-origin Japanese matcha from one family farm in Ujitawara, Uji, Kyoto. We test for heavy metals and harmful chemicals regularly. Grown at an altitude of 600 meters in Uji, Japan, we practice organic farming without pesticides and chemicals thanks to fewer crop-damaging insects. **Q: What are the differences between Ceremonial Grade and Latte Grade?** A: Ceremonial Grade: Rich sweet umami, best enjoyed with just hot water. Latte Grade: Pronounced aroma, subtle umami, ideal for pairing with plant-based milk. All our matcha are hand-picked in the first harvest, stone-ground, yielding only 30g per hour. **Q: What is the Okumidori Cultivar?** A: Cultivars are selectively bred plants for desired traits and qualities. We selected the superior OKUMIDORI cultivar for its fragrant sweet umami flavor & aroma. Shade-grown for 4 weeks, OKUMIDORI matcha boasts bold umami with minimal astringency. ## Frequently Bought Together - FKRO Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha Green Tea Powder from Uji, Japan. 1st Harvest, Single Origin, Sugar-free.
