Also, they look like they are factory, which gives a good look to the truck. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Durable and Strong *by J***M on 19 July 2025* These cross bars were a pain in the @ss to install. It took me 35 minutes to figure out how to put the first one on. There were no instructions in the box. My suggestion is to install the rear bar first and be careful to measure the distance from the rear of the roof rail to the bar, then match it precisely on the other side. It will take some finesse to get it into place. Make sure you loosen the screws on the bottom of the end piece, slide the cross bar into it and tighten them just enough to hold it in place. Be sure NOT to overtighten them and strip the threads. Once installed, I was able to mount a roof basket to it and load it down with tools, gear and luggage. We took an 800-mile round trip last week and I have to say that the cross bars don't show any sign of wear after holding a 70-lb. basket loaded with over 200 lbs. of gear. It looks nice, as well! I thought I'd take it off after the trip and store it, but I like the rugged look of the 4Runner now.
