The others had troubles working with the weight of my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 phone. This one however works great. I needed a dependable tripod stick that could be used with my phone and my digital camera for an upcoming vacation. Again, this one worked great! It holds your phone in a firm grasp so when the stick is fully extended there's no chance of it slipping out. The aluminum shaft is strong enough to hold the weight of my phone without flexing. The extra length of this stick came in handy when shooting selfies where you want a good shot of the background too. The swivel mount, which can be locked in any position, also allows you great flexibility in positioning your camera or phone for special shots. The Bluetooth remote readily connects with the phone and the battery easily lasts a whole day. The remote is firmly held on the stick with a rubber mount, so you wont lose it and is easily removable for those remote control shots. It's a little bulkier than some other sticks but just a little. A nice extra is that this stick came with a handy carry bag that protects the stick when in your backpack or pocket or purse.
